I read about Google Co-op search and wanted to give it a try so I set up my own little directory focused search-engine and then built a google pages site around it. 

You can check it out here!  So far I like the idea and am going to try to build up some backlinks and traffic by promoting this site.  I am always a little nervous about spending resources on this type of “free hosted site” because I don’t have total control over it. 

But my other ‘best of the web‘ google pages site has been doing well for around 9 months now.  I figured what the heck.  I know the colors are a little garish but all-in-all I like how it is progressing.
