The Wall Street Journal has reported that Microsoft and Yahoo have held talks to discuss their favourite competitor, Google. 

With Google holding onto the number one search spot without any signs of weakening it is not surprising that these two industry giants have decided that grouping and conquering might be their only option.  With the funding and experience of Bill Gates and the search share and success of Yahoo, it might be possible to finally put a dent in Google. 

But failure could result in Google running away with a lead that would be insurmountable for decades to come.  Good luck boys!
