If you can’t beat em’ (Google) join up and try and get bigger!  Then beat em’!

This morning Ebay and Yahoo announced they would be working together on a few key projects in 2007.  We can expect to see Yahoo using Paypal for it’s Yahoo Wallet and all it’s third party payment processing.  While Ebay is already the king of auctions it will now have a HUGE search partner to continue this dominance well into the next decade.

We all agree this is a good move for both companies and might help keep Google at bay.  Google has previously announced it intends to enter into the online payment market and this team effort could put a hurt on those future plans.
